Cookie Policy and similar technologies

This policy describes the cookies and similar local-storage technologies used on the iprintat.ro website (the "Site") operated by iPrintat. This policy complements our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, which we encourage you to read together with this document.

The appropriate protection of personal data is an important commitment for iPrintat. We aim to be as clear and transparent as possible about our approach. For any question, please contact us at csiprint@iprintat.ro.

    Manage your cookie preferences

You can change your consent at any time. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for the site to function.

Your current choice: Not yet decided

    1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file made of letters and numbers that is stored on the computer, mobile terminal or other equipment of a user who accesses the Internet. The cookie is installed by a request issued from the user's terminal to a server (either our server or a third-party server). Cookies are completely "passive" — they do not contain software programs, viruses or spyware and they cannot access the information from the user's hard drive.

    2. What are cookies used for?

These files make it possible to recognise the user's terminal and present the content in a relevant way, adapted to the user's preferences. Cookies provide users with a pleasant browsing experience and support our effort to offer more user-friendly services: for example remembering your language preference (Romanian or English) and your cookie-consent choice. They are also used to produce anonymous aggregate statistics that help us understand how a user benefits from our pages, allowing us to improve their structure and content, without identifying the user personally.

    3. What cookies do we use?

We use two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that remain on the user's terminal until the session ends or the application is closed. Persistent cookies remain on the user's terminal for a period determined by the cookie parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user.

    4. How are cookies used on this Site?

A visit to this Site may place the following categories of cookies and similar technologies: • Strictly necessary cookies — essential for the proper functioning of the Site, set on your device when you access the Site or as a result of actions taken on the Site. You can configure your browser to block these cookies, but in this case certain sections of the Site will not function properly. • Functionality cookies — remember your language preference and other UI settings. • Analytics cookies (only with your consent) — collect anonymous aggregate information about how visitors use the Site, used exclusively to improve the Site. These are activated only AFTER you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. We do NOT use marketing, advertising, profiling, remarketing or social-network cookies. A detailed list is provided in section 11 below.

    5. Do cookies or similar technologies contain personal data?

Cookies themselves do not require personal information in order to be used and, in many cases, do not personally identify Internet users. However, there are situations in which personal data may be collected through the use of cookies to facilitate certain functionalities or to provide a more tailored experience. Such data is encrypted in a way that makes access by unauthorised persons impossible. The processing of any personal data collected via cookies is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

    6. What are similar technologies?

There are other technologies that can be used for the same purposes as cookies. iPrintat uses, as similar technology, the browser Local Storage (HTML5 localStorage) — for example to remember your language preference and your cookie-consent choice across sessions.

    7. Blocking cookies

If you want to block cookies, some functionalities of the Site will be turned off, and this may cause certain malfunctions or errors in the use of the Site. For example, blocking cookies may prevent you from saving your language preference between sessions. Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies, but you can change the settings to block some or all cookies. Choose your browser from the helpful links in section 10 below to display the instructions to follow.

    8. Managing cookie preferences

In general, an application used to access web pages allows cookies and similar technologies to be saved on the terminal by default. These are stored for periods described in the table in section 11 below. These settings can be changed so that the automatic management of cookies is blocked by the web browser, or so that the user is informed every time cookies are sent to their terminal. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of managing cookies can be found in the settings area of the application (web browser). Limiting the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities of the website. You can also change your consent for non-essential cookies on this Site at any time, using the "Accept all cookies" / "Decline non-essential" buttons at the top of this page.

    9. Security and confidentiality aspects

Browsers generally have integrated privacy settings that provide different levels of cookie acceptance, validity period and automatic deletion after the user has visited a particular site. Other security aspects related to cookies: • Customise your browser settings regarding cookies to reflect a level of cookie-use security that is comfortable for you. • If you are the only person using the computer, you can set, if you wish, long expiration dates for storing browsing history and personal access data. • If you share access to the computer, you can consider setting the browser to delete individual browsing data each time you close the browser. This is one way to access sites that place cookies and to delete any visit information at the end of the browsing session.
