Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the iPrintat website (iprintat.ro) — the "Site" — and the submission of any quote, scanning, contact or other request form. By browsing the Site, by submitting any form or by ordering a service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site and do not submit any form.

Client — the User who submits a quote request, who orders a service or who enters into a contract with iPrintat. 2. About iPrintat

iPrintat is a fabrication and engineering services provider based in Bucharest, Romania. The Site presents our services and allows Users to request informative quotes and to contact our team. For specific identification data (registered office, sole registration code, trade register number, contact details), please contact us at csiprint@iprintat.ro.

    3. Scope of the Site

The Site is informational and quote-oriented. It is NOT an e-commerce platform: there is no online checkout, no online payment, no shopping cart, no automated order confirmation, no automatic shipping. Submitting a form on the Site does NOT constitute a purchase or a binding order. A project is only confirmed after a separate written agreement (typically email or signed Contract) between iPrintat and the Client.

    4. User obligations

By using the Site you agree: (a) to provide truthful, accurate, current and complete information in any form you submit, and to update it as needed; (b) to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable Romanian / EU law; (c) NOT to upload files containing malware, viruses, illegal content, content infringing third-party intellectual property rights, weapons / weapon parts as defined by Romanian law, counterfeit-currency or counterfeit-document templates, child-protection-violating content, or any content that incites violence, discrimination or hate; (d) NOT to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the admin panel, the database or any infrastructure, and not to interfere with the normal functioning of the Site (no scraping at unreasonable rates, no DDoS, no security probing without our written permission); (e) to obtain all necessary intellectual-property rights, licences, permits and approvals for any 3D model, CAD file, drawing or other content you upload, and to assume full responsibility for it. iPrintat reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate the processing of any request that violates these Terms.

    5. Quotes, offers and conclusion of the Contract

All estimates and quotes generated on the Site (including by the printing-quote calculator, the scanning-quote calculator and any service-specific quote form) are INFORMATIVE and NON-BINDING. Final pricing may vary based on technical feasibility analysis, material availability, file quality, project complexity, post-processing requirements, delivery method and final specifications. A quote becomes binding only after iPrintat sends a written confirmation (commercial offer) and the Client accepts it in writing. The Contract is concluded at the moment of acceptance. iPrintat reserves the right not to honour a quote in cases of manifest error (typographical errors, calculation errors of the estimator, etc.), unavailability of materials, force majeure, or if the underlying request violates these Terms or applicable law.

    6. Prices, invoicing and payment

Prices displayed on the Site or in a written offer are expressed in RON (Romanian Lei) and, where shown, also in EUR for reference, and may include or exclude VAT as explicitly stated. Payment terms (advance payment, partial advance, payment on delivery, deferred payment) are agreed separately for each project as part of the Contract. iPrintat does NOT process online payments through the Site — all invoicing and payment is handled offline (bank transfer or other agreed means) after the Contract is concluded.

    7. Delivery, pick-up and risk transfer

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, finished work can be picked up at our facility in Bucharest or shipped via a courier of our choice, at the Client's expense, anywhere in Romania (and on request internationally). Estimated delivery times communicated through quotes are informative; final delivery dates are confirmed in the Contract. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Client upon hand-over to the courier or upon pick-up.

    8. Intellectual property of uploaded content

The Client retains full ownership of any 3D model, CAD file, drawing, photo, G-code or other content uploaded to the Site. By submitting files the Client confirms holding all necessary rights to share them and grants iPrintat a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them strictly for evaluating the request and producing the ordered Service. iPrintat will NOT reuse, redistribute, publish or share uploaded files for any other purpose. Uploaded files are deleted in accordance with the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy. The Site itself, including its design, layout, code, texts, logos, images and trademarks, is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Any reproduction, distribution or use of Site content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from iPrintat is prohibited.

    9. Warranties and conformity

iPrintat warrants that the Services will be performed with professional diligence, using materials and equipment appropriate for the agreed specifications. Warranty conditions, return policy and the specific procedure for any conformity claim are set out in the individual Contract or in the commercial offer accepted by the Client, in compliance with Romanian consumer-protection law (where applicable) and with GEO 140/2021 on the sale of goods and the supply of digital content. The Client is responsible for the technical accuracy of the files and specifications supplied to iPrintat. iPrintat is not liable for defects in the finished product that result exclusively from incorrect input files, incorrect specifications, or instructions provided by the Client.

    10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iPrintat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of business or loss of data resulting from the use of the Site, the submission of a form or the use of a Service. Total cumulative liability of iPrintat for any direct damages related to a Service shall not exceed the price paid by the Client for that specific Service. Nothing in these Terms limits iPrintat's liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot be limited by Romanian law.

    11. Force majeure

iPrintat is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, governmental measures, restrictions, embargoes, energy or telecommunications outages, internet outages, failures of cloud-infrastructure providers, or shortages of materials.

    12. Personal data and cookies

The processing of personal data submitted through the Site is detailed in our Privacy Policy. The use of cookies and similar technologies is detailed in our Cookie Policy. Both are available on the Site and form an integral part of these Terms.

    13. Changes to these Terms

iPrintat may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in services, in our practices or in applicable Romanian / EU law. The most recent version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date below. Material changes will be highlighted. The version applicable to a specific Contract is the one in force at the moment the Contract is concluded.

    14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Romanian law and by applicable European Union regulations. We will try in good faith to resolve any dispute amicably. Consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade) may also refer disputes to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro). Any remaining dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.

    15. Contact
